Industrial Energy Monitoring Systems in Pakistan
JME Energy & Automation integrates meters, generators, solar PV, BESS, utility feeders and industrial loads into clear dashboards, alarms, trends and reports for reliable operating visibility.
What should an industrial energy-monitoring system show?
A useful system makes electrical and operating data understandable. It should show where energy enters the facility, how each source contributes, where major loads consume it, what changed before an abnormal event and how performance varies over time.
Real-time electrical data
Voltage, current, frequency, active power, reactive power, power factor, demand and energy totals.
Source and load status
Grid, transformer, genset, solar, BESS, feeder and major-load measurements in one operating view.
Trends, alarms and reports
Review operating behaviour, recurring alarms, time-based comparisons and selected energy records.
One visibility layer across the power system
WAPDA and transformer feeders
Incoming supply, feeder loading, demand, import/export direction and transformer operating data.
Diesel generators
Electrical loading, operating status, controller alarms, energy contribution and running conditions.
PV inverter systems
Direct inverter data or dedicated metering where usable inverter communications are unavailable.
BESS visibility
Power, state of charge, mode, alarms and selected battery or PCS data where exposed by the equipment.
Main and sub-distribution
Track major areas, production loads, utilities and critical feeders using suitable measurement points.
Weather integration
Correlate solar performance with irradiance, temperature, wind and other environmental measurements.
Integrate analyzers, controllers and existing devices
JME selects the data path according to the installed equipment. Data can be collected from energy analyzers, multifunction meters, protection devices, generator controllers, solar inverters, BESS interfaces and PLCs using available documented communications.
Typical project interfaces include Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, RS485, Ethernet/IP, CAN and MQTT, with gateways or fiber communication used where plant distance requires it.
Monitoring, SCADA and EMS are connected—but not identical
Measure and record
Acquire reliable values, statuses, totals, alarms and historical trends from the installed system.
Supervise and operate
Add system diagrams, operator controls, alarm handling, user roles and centralized visibility.
Coordinate energy strategy
Use trusted monitoring data to support industrial peak shaving and demand management, source coordination, battery scheduling or load management.

Can existing energy meters be integrated?
Often yes, when the installed meters provide a usable communication interface and documented register map. JME verifies compatibility before defining the final architecture.
Can different inverter brands appear on one dashboard?
Yes. Data may be collected directly from supported inverters or through dedicated measurement devices where direct communication is unavailable or unsuitable.
Can monitoring cover multiple buildings or sites?
Yes. The design may use Ethernet, fiber, gateways, cloud or historian services according to distance, availability and cybersecurity requirements.
Does monitoring automatically reduce electricity cost?
Monitoring provides reliable information for decisions; it does not guarantee savings by itself. Active EMS strategies and operational changes require separate engineering and verification.
Can JME review an unreliable monitoring system?
Yes. Share the SLD, meter models, network details, screenshots and the problems being experienced through JME’s system-recovery intake.
Need reliable visibility of your plant’s energy?
Send your SLD, meter list, source ratings and reporting requirements. JME will identify the likely measurement points, communication route and monitoring architecture.
