PV Genset Controller Applications and Project Evidence
Where generator-aware solar control is used, what evidence a buyer should request and how JME expands control into unified EMS and SCADA.

Industrial applications
Where PV–genset control creates operational value
Manufacturing Plants
Solar and generator coordination across varying production loads and multiple feeders.
Commercial Facilities
Generator-aware solar operation during utility outages or scheduled generator periods.
Remote Sites
Hybrid solar-diesel operation where generator runtime and fuel logistics matter.
Common-Bus Powerhouses
Dynamic PV allowance as multiple generators synchronize, share load or stop.
Critical Infrastructure
Supervised power visibility, alarms and controlled operating modes with clear fallback states.
EMS Expansion
Extends from PV–DG control into BESS, grid, load management, historian and SCADA.
Evidence checklist
What credible project proof should show
- Real SLD or SCADA operating view
- Actual inverter and generator equipment
- Trend evidence across mode transitions
- Generator loading and solar output together
- Alarm and fail-safe testing records
- FAT/SAT or commissioning documentation
- JME project evidence: Sazgar/HAVAL unified SCADA, EMS & genset synchronization →
- Browse documented JME projects & case studies →
- Clear distinction between monitoring and control
- Site-specific results without universal savings claims
JME evidence
Sazgar: control evolving into unified visibility
JME’s Sazgar Engineering Works implementation includes synchronized generators, solar coordination, WAPDA integration, plant monitoring, automatic load shedding, VCB operation and weather-station data within a customized SCADA/EMS environment.

Engineering answers
Frequently asked questions
What project data is needed to estimate fuel reduction?
At minimum: time-based plant load, solar production, generator loading, fuel or efficiency data, operating hours and minimum-load constraints.
Can an existing PV system be retrofitted?
Often yes, after verifying inverter control access, metering, generator status, communications and switchgear interfaces.
Is SCADA required for the controller to operate?
Not necessarily. Local control can be independent, while SCADA adds supervision, alarms, trends and maintenance visibility.
