Built around the real plant

Industrial automation is more than PLC programming

A reliable system must coordinate field signals, electrical interlocks, operating sequences, alarms, communications, operator controls, documentation and commissioning. JME treats these as one engineering system so the finished solution remains understandable after handover.

CONTROL

PLC and dedicated controllers

Sequence equipment, enforce permissives, manage modes and respond predictably to failures or manual commands.

INTERFACE

HMI and operator workflow

Develop clear operating screens, alarms, controls and status information around actual operator tasks.

SUPERVISION

SCADA and historical visibility

Unify plant views, alarm handling, trends, reporting, remote monitoring and multi-site data.

Engineering capabilities

Automation across power, process and electrical systems

PLC / HMI

Control-system development

PLC logic, HMI design, I/O integration, operating modes, alarms and machine or utility sequences.

POWER

Industrial energy automation

Grid, genset, solar, BESS, synchronization, source selection, load management and EMS integration.

SWITCHGEAR

Breaker and source control

VCB, ACB, MCCB, ATS, AMF, motorized breakers, contactors, feedback and electrical interlocks.

DATA

Third-party communications

Integrate supported equipment using Modbus RTU/TCP, RS485, Ethernet/IP, CAN and MQTT.

VISIBILITY

Monitoring and historian

Operational dashboards, trends, alarms, fault history, reports and centralized supervision.

FIELD

FAT, SAT and commissioning

Verify I/O, logic, interlocks, modes, failure behaviour and operator controls before reliance. Use the printable JME commissioning checklist for structured acceptance.

Automation retrofit and recovery

When the existing system is undocumented or unreliable

Plants often inherit controls that have been modified repeatedly, depend on one unavailable person, log incomplete data or no longer operate as intended. JME begins by mapping what exists before recommending replacement.

The outcome may be fault correction, documentation, communication repair, partial retrofit, controller migration or a staged system replacement designed to reduce operational risk.

Maintainable by Design

Engineering deliverables that survive handover

DEFINE

Control philosophy and I/O

Document the operating intent, modes, permissives, alarms, point list and equipment interfaces.

BUILD

Software and electrical integration

Develop controller logic, HMI/SCADA screens, communications and panel or field interfaces.

HANDOVER

Testing and documentation

Provide backups, test records, punch lists, screen/tag information and project-specific handover material.

Connected authority pages

Automation services connected to JME’s energy ecosystem

Synchronization and load management

Generator paralleling, WAPDA coordination, load sharing and priority-based load control.

Buyer questions

Industrial automation and retrofit FAQs

Can JME work with an existing PLC or HMI system?

Yes, after verifying the hardware, software access, backups, I/O, communications and condition of the installed system. The appropriate route may be integration, repair, partial retrofit or migration.

Can obsolete or undocumented automation be recovered?

Sometimes. Recovery depends on hardware condition, available backups, access protection, drawings and how much operating behaviour can be verified safely at site.

Can JME integrate energy equipment with plant automation?

Yes. JME’s scope includes meters, generators, solar inverters, BESS, breakers, synchronization controllers, PLCs and SCADA where suitable interfaces are available.

What documentation should an automation project include?

Depending on scope: control philosophy, I/O list, communication map, alarm definitions, screen/tag structure, backups, test records and commissioning handover information.

How can we request a review without preparing a long form?

Send photos, a voice note, video, screenshots or an SLD through JME’s simplified system-recovery intake.

New automation project—or an existing system causing problems?

Share the application, equipment details and available evidence. JME will identify the likely engineering route and the information needed for the next step.
