JME FLAGSHIP INDUSTRIAL ENERGY PROJECT

Sazgar Engineering Works — HAVAL / GWM Pakistan Car Plant. One unified SCADA.

At the Sazgar Engineering Works car plant in Pakistan, where Sazgar manufactures/assembles GWM HAVAL vehicles, JME delivered a customized control and energy-management environment—integrating synchronized generators, WAPDA, approximately 5 MW solar, VCB operations, plant loads and weather intelligence.

Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (PSX: SAZEW) is a listed automobile manufacturer. Sazgar’s own public disclosures confirm manufacturing and assembly facilities for GWM HAVAL vehicles in Pakistan, and the company identifies its Sunder facility as the Sazgar Car Plant. JME’s scope documented here is the plant energy, SCADA and automation integration project. This is not a generic monitoring dashboard. The interface follows the plant’s actual electrical topology and brings WAPDA, generators, solar, feeders, production areas and weather data into one operating model.

WEATHER STATION INTEGRATION

Environmental data inside the same energy picture.

The installed weather station feeds site conditions into the customized SCADA and EMS, allowing plant teams to review solar performance alongside the conditions affecting generation.

  • Solar irradiance monitoring
  • Ambient temperature and relative humidity
  • Wind speed and wind direction
  • Centralized display with solar and plant-energy data
  • Historical context for performance review

Additional sensors can be incorporated when included in the approved scope.

AUTOMATIC LOAD SHEDDING PANEL

Protect available generation through prioritized load control.

When grid power is unavailable or generator capacity is limited, the control system can shed pre-approved non-critical loads in stages rather than allowing the complete power system to collapse from overload.

01

Monitor

Measure available generation, connected load, frequency and approved limits.

02

Detect

Identify a capacity shortfall, overload condition or configured threshold.

03

Shed

Disconnect selected non-critical feeders according to the priority schedule.

04

Restore

Reconnect loads in sequence when stable capacity becomes available.

Load-shedding stages, delays, interlocks and restoration logic are engineered around the plant load schedule, generator capacity and safety philosophy. Manual fallback and SCADA visibility can be included.

CENTRALIZED CONTROL SYSTEM

Field control, protection and operator commands—engineered together.

The control layer connects generator controllers, breaker circuits, protection permissives, selector switches, metering and SCADA communications.

  • Compatible Deep Sea Electronics and other controller integration
  • Automatic and manual modes
  • Synchronizing, load sharing and generator sequencing
  • Breaker/VCB feedback, commands and interlocking
  • PLC/HMI and Modbus-based integration where supported
  • Alarm handling and safe manual fallback

ENGINEERING INTELLIGENCE. MAINTAINABLE BY DESIGN.

A unified system built around the plant—not around a generic template.

Every final control mode depends on installed equipment, controller compatibility, protection requirements, utility conditions and the approved operating philosophy.

TECHNICAL ANSWERS

Common project questions.

What is a unified SCADA system?

A unified SCADA connects power sources, breakers, meters, controllers and plant loads through a centralized supervisory interface for status, alarms, trends and energy data.

Can Deep Sea controllers synchronize multiple generators?

Compatible Deep Sea Electronics load-sharing and synchronizing controllers support multi-generator architectures. Correct selection, interfaces, protection settings and commissioning remain essential.

What is WAPDA and genset synchronization?

It coordinates an industrial generator system with the utility supply for an approved mode such as controlled transfer or mains-parallel operation, subject to protection and utility requirements.

What does a PV-genset controller do?

It coordinates solar production with generator and site-load conditions while applying approved minimum generator-loading, reverse-power and export constraints.

What does an auto load shedding panel do?

It disconnects pre-approved non-critical loads when available generation is insufficient, then restores them in a controlled sequence when capacity returns.
